In the final game for baseball in Florida, junior Benjamin Lodge (Blackstone, Mass.) was the catalyst in UMass Dartmouth's 6-0 shutout of William Paterson. The junior pitcher retired the first 11 batters he faced and did not allow a hit until the sixth inning. Over seven innings of work, Lodge struck out nine batters and held William Paterson to just two hits. His performance ended the trip for the Corsairs on a high note, as the team won three of the last four and four of its final six games.
