Nominations Sought for 25th Anniversary Hall of Fame Class
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Corsair Hall of Fame will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this September and is seeking nominations for its Class of 2012. The annual UMass Dartmouth Corsair Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Friday, September 21, 2012 as part of homecoming weekend activities.

Chancellor Honored at UMass Dartmouth Athletic Banquet
After 13 years watching award presentations at the annual UMass Dartmouth Athletic Award Banquet, outgoing Chancellor Jean MacCormack left the 46th annual event with some hardware of her own. Making her final appearance at the annual Athletic Awards Banquet after 13 years as university chancellor, Jean MacCormack was honored with the annual John Frye Athletic Service award.

SAAC Plans More Events After Successful Road Race
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is looking forward to holding several more events during the next year after putting on the first annual Ring Road Race for Champions. The event, conducted Saturday, April 22nd to raise money for the Special Olympics, raised more than $300 while generating 88 entries for the race.

Corsairs, LEC Participate in NCAA Division III Week
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is joining other members of the Little East Conference in participating in the inaugural NCAA Division III Week. Division III Week officially runs from April 9th through the 15th, and the LEC has scheduled a conference-wide celebration this Saturday, Aprilt 14th.

Acrobatics and Tumbling Clinic Cancelled
The third and final clinic that was to be held by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Acrobatics & Tumbling Program has been cancelled. The clinic had been scheduled to be held this Saturday, April 14th at the Tripp Athletic Center on the UMass dartmouth campus from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

UMass Dartmouth Announces Passing of Former AD Bob Mullen
The UMass Dartmouth Athletic Department has received word of the passing of former Athletic Director Robert W. Mullen. He passed away recently after a long and courageous battle with complications from diabetes.

DAYTONA BEACH, FL-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's cheer team finished in third place on the second and final day of the two-day All-Girl Division III National Cheerleading Association Championships at the Ocean Center Friday night.
