Corsair Hall of Fame Sets 2013 Induction Ceremony

(Dartmouth, MA) -- The UMass Dartmouth Corsair Hall of Fame will celebrate its 26th anniversary on Friday, September 27, 2013 with the Class of 2013 Induction Ceremony at the Tripp Athletic Center.

The 26th anniversary induction class includes three former student-athletes who recently graduated from UMass Dartmouth, plus a team and individual from one of its predecessor institutions, Southeastern Massachusetts University (SMU).

Joining the Corsair Hall of Fame in the Class of 2013 will be Mark Tallent (SMU '83 – ice hockey), Kelly (Kidd) Bartucca (UMD '06 – diving), Kelly (Fitts) Ferreira (UMD '06 – track, soccer), Jonathan Garcia (UMD '08 – track) and the late Louise Goodrum (administrator).  Former Coach Bruce Wheeler's 1988 SMU baseball team will be this year's inductee in the team category.

The Corsair Hall of Fame kicks off UMass Dartmouth's 2013 Homecoming Weekend. The Hall of Fame ceremony includes a social hour at 6:00 pm in the Corsair Hall of Fame located in the Tripp Athletic Center, followed by dinner and the induction ceremony in the Tripp Center main gymnasium.
