DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Thirty-three UMass Dartmouth student-athletes were recently named to the 2018 Little East Conference Spring All-Academic Teams, when the conference office made the official announcement on Friday.
In order to represent the Corsairs on the All-Academic teams, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 or higher through the 2017 fall semester. The individual must also be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, a full-time member of their varsity sport and have been enrolled for a full academic year.
Six UMass Dartmouth programs garnered academic accolades for their production in the classroom. The women's outdoor track and field team paced the spring teams with 10 All-Academic honors, followed by softball (8), women's lacrosse (7), baseball (4), men's lacrosse (3) and men's outdoor track and field.
Additionally, 121 student-athletes earned either Chancellor's List or Dean's List honors this past spring. All 25 intercollegiate programs were represented.
