Eastern Connecticut State, which finished second last year, was picked to finish first, with seven first-place votes and 63 points. Keene State, which tied for third last season, received the other first place vote and was picked to finish second, while Southern Maine, last year's regular season champion, was picked to finish third. UMass Boston, Rhode Island College, and Western Connecticut State were picked next, and Plymouth State were picked to finish next.

"Our goals for this season include finishing higher than our pre-season ranking," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Bob Curran. "With hard work, we hope to continue to improve from where we were at the end of last year. The poll should gve us incentive to work harder and get into the upper division in the league."

The Corsaairs will open their 2010 season this Saturday, March 13th against Northland as part of their spring trip to Florida.
