"Matt Connolly and Brendan Kelleher came back today and had nice rounds," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Joel Baptista. "As a team, we need to play better if we want to compete in the conference championships next weekend. We have to make more putts, we have to get up and down more, and we have to stay away from the big numbers. We have to get off to a better start, 11 shots is a lot to make up in a two-day tournament. Congratulations to Rhode Island College, and thanks to Johnson & Wales for putting on a nice tournament."
The Corsairs will return to action at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference championships next weekend.
