NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's golf team was recently named to the prestigious 2014 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III All-Academic team presented by Farmers Insurance.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic team honors, a college or university must submit the grade point averages for each player on the official squad list the academic year. The Corsairs were just one of 23 Division III institutions to meet the 3.0 standard, posting a cumulative grade point average of 3.19.
Under the direction of Joel Baptista, UMass Dartmouth has represented the Division III student-athlete philosophy of a well-rounded education and strong athletic participation.
