Men's Lacrosse Picked to Tie for Sixth in LEC Poll

NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's men's lacrosse team has been picked to finish in a tie for sixth place in the annual Little East Conference pre-season coaches' poll.

The Corsairs received 25 points in the poll, which puts them in a tie with Salem State.

Eastern Connecticut was picked to finish first, and received all eight first place votes and 64 points. Keene State was picked to finish second, Plymouth State and Western Connecticut State were picked to tie for third, and Southern Maine was chosen to finish fifth. UMass Boston was ranked behind the Corsairs and Vikings.

Last year, UMass Dartmouth finished 6-9-0 and 3-4-0 in the LEC, good for fifth place in the final standings. UMD has a 1-2 record in their first three games this season.
