NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's men's soccer team has set their spring practice schedule.
The Corsairs have scheduled eight initial practices, beginning Tuesday, March 27th and concluding Thursday, April 19th. All of the practices are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and will take place at the UMass Dartmouth soccer practice field, which is adjacent to the track.
Anyone interested in practicing during the spring must submit medical paperwork. The information can be found on the sports medicine part of the UMass Dartmouth athletic web site, www.corsairathletics.com/sports_medicine/index. Paperwork must be turned in at the training room in the Tripp Athletic Center prior to the start of practice.
"We encourage anyone who is interested in competing on the team to come to practice," said UMass Dartmouth Assistant Coach Alex Bettencourt. "This is a good opportunity to give the coaching staff a chance to see what you have to offer. In the spring, we are always looking for student-athletes who could potentially help us, both now and going forward. We like to maintain a competitive atmosphere for all practices that will give us a good standard for our work, from now until we start pre-season camp in August."
