Corsairs Earn All-Conference Honors
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has placed 26 student-athletes on the 2012-13 Little East Conference Fall All-Academic Team.

Victor Ferreira Earns NSCAA All-Region Honor
A member of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s men’s soccer team has earned post-season All-Region honors. Junior forward Victor Ferreira (St. Michael, Portugal, New Bedford HS) was named first team All-New England Region North by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Seven Corsairs Earn LEC Men's Soccer Awards
Seven members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's men’s soccer team have earned post-season Little East Conference honors. Senior defender Brady Paradis (Tiverton, RI/Providence Country Day), junior midfielder Adam Philbin (Cumberland, RI/Cumberland HS/RIC/CCRI), and junior forward Victor Ferreira (St. Michael, Portugal, New Bedford HS) have been named first team All-Little East Conference. Junior defender Jonathan DaCosta (New Bedford, MA/New Bedford HS) and sophomore midfielder Jordan Sindo (New Bedford, MA/New Bedford HS) were named second team All-LEC. Freshman forward Aelaf Solomon (Framingham, MA/Framingham HS) was named Rookie of the Year, and Head Coach Henry Almeida was named Coach of the Year.

Eastern Connecticut Defeats Men's Soccer in LEC Championship Match
Host Eastern Connecticut State broke a 1-1 tie with two goals late in the second half and went on to defeat the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's men’s soccer team, 3-1, in the Little East Conference championship match at Nevers Field Saturday.

LEC Playoff Schedule Revised
The Little East Conference playoff schedule for the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s teams has been changed, due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Men's soccer will play at Keene State Thursday at 6 p.m. in an LEC semi-final. The women’s soccer team and field hockey team, which were scheduled to begin their playoffs Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, will now begin action Wednesday and Thursday.

The tryouts, originally scheduled to take place today (Wednesday), will now take place tomorrow (Thursday), September 6th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the soccer practice field adjacent to the track.

NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's men's soccer team is looking to add some student-athletes this fall. The Corsairs went 11-7-1 and advanced to the semi-finals of the Little East Conference Championships last season.
