Solomon Earns LEC Men's Soccer Offensive Honors

NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA-Freshman forward Aelaf Solomon (Framingham, MA/Framingham HS) has earned a Little East Conference honor.

Solomon has been named LEC Offensive Player of the Week. It's the second week in a row that he has won the award, and the third time this season that he has been honored by the conference.

Solomon scored a goal and an assist for three points as the Corsairs split a pair of matches, defeating UMass Boston Saturday after falling to Roger Williams in double overtime Thursday evening. He scored against RWU, and added an assist against the Beacons.

:I'm happy to see him come in and contribute as a freshman," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Henry Almeida. "He has a positive work ethic, he's contributing in a big way, and we're happy to see him being rewarded."

UMass Dartmouth is 8-3 overall and 4-0 in the LEC and will visit Massachusetts Maritime Thursday.
