Men's Swimming Competes Against Gordon College

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's swimming team competed against Gordon College on Thursday evening in a non-scoring meet at the Natatorium.

Freshman Grayham Ronan (Millis, Mass.) placed first in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard backstroke with times of 23.63 and 1:01.91, while teammate Phil Lowney (Mattapoisett, Mass.) earned the top spot in the 200 yard individual medley (2:19.67) and the 100 yard breastroke (1:04.06).

Junior Michael Gryss (New Bedford, Mass.) finished the 100 yard butterfly with a first place time of 57.94 and classmate Ed Olean (Seekonk, Mass.) defeated the field in the 500 yard freestyle event (5:12.08).

Senior Christian Francia (Hampton, N.H.) swept the one and three meter diving events with totals of 225.90 and 243.38.  

The Corsairs return to action on January 21 when they travel to Wheaton College to face WPI for a 6:30 p.m. meet.
