"I was very pleased," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Tom Mendell. "We had some of our players missing because of class conflicts, and some of our guys who don't usually play stepped up and played well. Jake Jaskolka, Malcolm Neville and Jon Reagan all won at least once. We were undermanned, but they filled in and did a great job."
UMass Dartmouth improved to 5-3 with the victory, while Johnson & Wales dropped to 6-4 with the defeat. The Corsairs will return to action when they host Southern Maine Saturday. The Wildcats will host Emerson Saturday.
