DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's tennis team snapped a three-game losing skid, sweeping Lesley 9-0 in home non-conference action on Friday afternoon.

How it Happened
The no. 3 doubles pairing of senior Summer Forest-Bulley (Turners Falls, Mass.) and freshman Mark Desmond (Braintree, Mass.) were able to kick start the Corsairs with an 8-0 decision over the combination of Peter Weiss (Longmeadow, Mass.) and Evan McDermod (Portsmouth, N.H.). Justin Torres (Dighton, Mass.) and Patrick Pacheco (Fall River, Mass.) picked up an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles over Evan Flaherty (Scituate, Mass.) and Adam Valladares (Middleton, N.H.). Corey Rafter (Franklin, Mass.) and Anthony Joseph (Fairhaven, Mass.) took down Niko Marcolini (Newbury, Mass.) and Beowulf Urban (Blue Hills, Maine) to an 8-3 final to open up a 3-0 lead heading into singles.
Desmond rode the momentum to a win No. 4 singles over Evan Zona (Hingham, Mass.) 6-0, 6-1. Forest-Bulley laid claim in No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-3 over Flaherty. Rafter picked up his first win of the season at No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 6-1 decision over Marcolini, and Torres made his first showing at No. 2 singles and took down Urban 6-0, 6-2.

- Friday marks the first 9-0 win for the Corsairs since they defeated Rhode Island College to by the margin on April 22, 2015.
UMass Dartmouth remains at home against Suffolk on Tuesday, beginning at 3:30pm. The Lynx will travel to Becker College on Saturday for a 1 p.m. start in NECC competition.
