DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's tennis team were blanked by Roger Williams in non-conference action Tuesday night.

How It Happened

UMass Dartmouth was outmatched by Roger Williams in the non-conference affair, as the Hawks swept the double portion. Tristin Viale (Westfield, Mass.) and Anthony Joseph (Achusnet, Mass.) had the tightest battle with their opponents on the other side of the court, being edged out 8-6.

Patrick Pacheco (Fall River, Mass.) got singles going and forced the game to a tiebreaking set where he was ultimately downed 7-3. Roger William's Jake Cole (Sterling, Va.) earned the victory for his team, defeating Viale 6-1, 6-1 in straight sets.
