"Mike Parker came through in the tie-breaker to pull us through," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Tom Mendell. "It was a tougher match than we thought it would be, and Karsten, Mike and Matt Bejtlich came through for us at the top three singles spots, and they remained undefeated. Hopefully, we can continue our winning streak this Saturday, and get through the regular season undefeated."
The Corsairs improved to 8-0 and 5-0 in the Little East Conference with the victory, while the Bears dropped to 7-7 and 2-3 in LEC play with the defeat. UMass Dartmouth will return to action when they visit Salem State Saturday. BSU will visit Western Connecticut State Saturday.
