"We came into the meet a little tired after the weather threw us a curveball during the week, which affected our training," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Steve Gardiner. "In spite of that, we had some very good performances. Our throwers did well, Brittany Cole made the finals in three events and Jessica Masse made the finals in two in a meet with a lot of Division I participants. It was good to see Joe Texeira finish first against Division I competition. We're heading into the home stretch of our schedule, with one more meet next week before we go to conference."
