Freshman Sean Herlihy (Walpole, MA/Walpole HS) of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's cross country team has been honored by the Little East Conference. Herlihy has been named Little East Conference Men's Cross Country Rookie Runner of the Week.

Men's Cross Country Third at RWU Invitational
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth cross country team acquitted themselves well at the Roger Williams Invitational at Colt State Park Saturday. The men were third in an eight-team field with 81 points. Franklin Pierce finished first with 18 points. The Corsairs were ninth in the 1-team women's race, with 61 points. Connecticut College led the way with 36 points.

Cross Country Second, Third at Fens Classic
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth cross country team turned in a solid performance in their 2013 season opener at the Fens Classic, hosted by Emmanuel at the Fens on Saturday. The women were third in an eight-team field with 81 points. Wheaton finished first with 29 points. The Corsairs tied for second place in the seven-team men's race, with 61 points. Brandeis led the way with 36 points.
