UMass Dartmouth Earns Second at Roger William's Show

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. -- The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth equestrian team took second place at Roger Williams University's show on Saturday.

Sophomore Sarah Kieran (Plympton, Mass.) placed second in her open flat class and third in open over fences.

Senior Captain Kathryn Gardner (Concord, Mass.) placed sixth in novice over fences, while sophomore Colleen Waclawk (Rochester, Mass.) placed fourth. In novice on the flat, Waclawk placed first, while juniors Lauryn Mort (Mattapoisett, Mass.) and Rachel Pacheco (Fall River, Mass.) placed fifth and sixth respectively.

Sophomore Alexandra Koury (Holden, Mass.) placed first in her advanced walk trot canter class.  In beginner walk trot canter, junior Natalie Fernberg (Attleboro, Mass.) and sophomore Erin Robinson (Medway, Mass.) both placed second.

In walk trot, sophomore LillyAnna Kuehl (Westford, Mass.) received first place, while freshman Kira Hallberg (Foxboro, Mass.) and Ciara Barrigas (Sandwich, Mass.) each finished in third.

The UMass Dartmouth team has their home show on Saturday, November 2 at Claddagh Farm in Tiverton, R.I.
