CAMBRIDGE, MA-Kimberly Barker scored twice to lead the 20th ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology over the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's field hockey team, 3-1, in the Corsairs' 2012 season opener at Jack Barry Field Saturday.

"Today's game was a good test for us," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Nicole Castonguay. "Both teams came out with determination and played some good field hockey. We have a better outlook on all areas of improvement, and will work on those set pieces going into our next match against Clark."
