Seanna Golden and Stephanie Kinchla Earn All-Region Field Hockey Honors

NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA-Two members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's field hockey team have earned All-Region honors.

Sophomore forward Stephanie Kinchla (Falmouth, MA/Falmouth HS/Quinnipiac) junior goalkeeper Seana Golden (Somerset, MA/Bishop Stang HS) have been named first team Longstreth National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-New England West Region All-Stars. They were two of 16 players named to the first team.

Kinchla led the Little East in goals, points, and game-winning goals, and Golden ranked second in goals-against average and third in save percentage and led the conference in shutouts.

"I was thrilled to see Stephanie and Seana honored," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Nicole Castonguay. "When you look at the list of players honored, they represent the top programs, and that's where we want to be. Having two players honored who are returning says good things about our program, and where it's going. I think we will continue to see great things from our program."
