NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA – Angela Grassetti (Feeding Hills, MA/Agawam) scored with one second remaining on the clock to lift visiting Worcester State University over the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, 17-16, in a back-and-forth non-conference women's lacrosse game at Cressy Field Tuesday afternoon.

The Lancers (4-0) were paced by Kalia Chase's (Northbridge, MA/Northbridge) five goals. Teammate Molly Kilday (Westfield, MA/Westfield Academy) added three goals, while three other players added a pair of goals each for WSU.
Senior attacker Brittney Enos (East Falmouth, MA/Falmouth) led the Corsairs (2-3) with a game-high six goals. Freshman attacker Colleen Kane (Arlington, MA/Arlington) continued the hot start to her first collegiate campaign with six points (four goals, two assists), while senior midfielder Denise Gates (Feeding Hills, MA/Agawam HS) dished out a game-high five assists.
Worcester State held a 40-31 advantage in ground balls in outshooting UMD 45-25 (38-24 on goal). Alex Chisholm (Brookfield, MA/Brattleboro [VT]) turned aside eight shots in picking up the win for the Lancers.
