KANSAS CITY, KS-For the first time ever, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's women's soccer team has been ranked in the region.
The Corsairs are ranked 10th in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America New England rankings. The NSCAA has been producing regional rankings since 1997, and Pat Madden of the national office confirmed that this was the first appearance for the Corsairs.
The Corsairs went 2-0-1 last week and are now 6-1-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the Little East Conference. They will return to action when they host Mitchell Wednesday.
