BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Senior Talia D'Ambruoso (Warwick, R.I.) evened the contest in the 55th minute, but neither team to find the back of the net for a game-winner on Thursday, as UMass Dartmouth and Bridgewater State played to a 1-1 draw.

How it Happened
In the 24th minute, Bridgewater State sophomore Yasmina Teixeira converted, taking a touch pass from Courtney Pepin and fired from the top of the box, finding the inside right post and put the hosts up early.
UMass Dartmouth saw several quality chances early in the second half, and finally notched the equalizer at 54:16, when D'Ambruoso sent her own rocket from 18 yards out to edge the inside right post.
In extra minutes, sophomore Korina Miguel (New Bedford, Mass.) kept the game going, making three point-blank stops in the first overtime period. The Corsairs were able to force four corner kicks and four shots in the second overtime, but the clock would tick down without another score.
Inside the Numbers
- D'Ambruoso found the back of the net for the third time this season, and all three of her goals have been unassisted.
- Four Corsairs put shot on net during the 110 minutes, including four from D'Ambruoso and two from senior Nicole Starkey-Cox (Warwick, R.I.).
- Miguel registered seven total saves in her second full game on the season, including three in the second half and three in the first overtime period.
- On the opposite end, Bridgewater State goalkeeper Lauren DeSousa also totaled seven saves.
UMass Dartmouth will look for its first win in conference play on Saturday, making the short trip to Providence, R.I. to meet Rhode Island College at 1 p.m.
