BOSTON – The Wentworth Leopards took an early lead, and never looked back as the hosts topped the visiting University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Corsairs by a 1-0 score in non-conference action at Sweeney Field.

How it Happened
Wentworth began the game firing as it controlled an early shot total of 7-3 in the opening 20 minutes of action.
Heavy pressure amounted to a stalemate-breaking goal as sophomore midfielder Sydney Brogan (Los Angeles, Calif.) found the top-right corner of the net for her 10th career goal, giving the Leopards the 1-0 advantage just 24:37 minutes into the game.
With the lead, Wentworth clamped down on the defensive end, surrendering just five shots from UMass Dartmouth from the time of the Brogan goal until the end of the contest.

- Wentworth held the advantage on the shots total, tallying 19 of the game's 27 shots. However, the Leopards held just a slight lead in shots on goal, 7-5.
- The Leopards controlled an 11-0 advantage in corner kicks. They were also the more penalized team, getting called for three fouls to the Corsairs two.
