Lauren Hickey is making her collegiate coaching debut as an assistant with the Corsairs this season.

Hickey a standout defender during her playing days at Eastern Connecticut State, led the Southwick-Tolland Regional High School girls' soccer team to their first ever Western Massachusetts Division II championship duringher playing days six years ago. She graduated from ECSU after a four-year career

As a senior, Hickey earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America and ESPN after graduating from ECSU.

"Lauren brings a lot of great qualities to our team," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Nicole Hanewich. "I was looking for someone with a lot of defensivce experience who could bring that to our team. You can tell that she wants to be around soccer, and help us be successful."
