The Panthers opened up the first inning with a pair of runs. Masha Lange crossed the plate on a wild pitch and Sam Hebert, who went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI, drove in Jackie Digman on a sacrifice fly.
In the fifth, Digman increased the visitor's lead to three when she singled down the leftfield line to drive in Emma Rhodes. Hebert followed with a double to left center, pushing home the final two runs of the contest.
In the fifth inning, Bekah Jackson broke up sophomore pitcher Shannon Orton's (Swansea, Mass.) no-hitter with an RBI single to centerfield. The lone run proved to be all Roberts needed to seal the win for the visitors.
UMass Dartmouth returns to action on Tuesday, April 15, when the Corsairs host Eastern Connecticut State University (15-9, 5-1 LEC). The first pitch of the Little East doubleheader is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
