NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA- Five members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's women's tennis team have earned post-season Little East Conference honors.

Sophomore Hannah Schulze (Chelmsford, MA/ Chelmsford HS) and senior Liz Girczyc (Attleboro, MA/Attleboro HS) earned first team All-Conference honors at number three doubles.  Junior Casey Auman (North Dartmouth, MA/North Dartmouth HS) earned second team All-Conference honors at number six singles, while juniors Angela Pollard (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth HS) and Allison Furtado (Fairhaven, MA/Fairhaven HS) earned second team honors at number two doubles.

Auman went 7-1 at number six singles, and was 5--0 against Little East Conference opponents. Schulze and Girczyc went 10-0 at number two doubles, 8-0 against LEC foes, while Furtado and Pollard were 9-2 overall and 7-1 against LEC opponents.

"The honors are well-deserved," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Ralph Perry. "Our conference is tough, and they played consistently well all season long. We went 10-2, and they played a little bit above and beyond the level of their opponents, and I'm pleased to see them honored."
