Women's Tennis Receives 2014 ITA All-Academic Team Award
SKILLMAN, N.J. -- The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team received the 2014 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team award. In addition, six Corsairs were named ITA Scholar-Athletes. The ITA announced its 2014 All-Academic Teams on July 10.

Capone, Pelletier, Schulze Earn All-LEC Honors
NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team placed three players on The Little East All-Conference First Team. Freshman Katelyn Capone (Abington, MA/Abington HS) was named to the all-conference first team at No. 6 singles, while the team of senior Nicole Pelletier (Swansea, MA/Case HS) and junior Hannah Schulze (Chelmsford, MA/Chelmsford HS) were chosen at No. 1 doubles.

Women's Tennis Shuts Out Colonials on Senior Day
NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA -- The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team won its second consecutive match by shut out, defeating Western Connecticut State University 9-0 Saturday in a Little East Conference match at the UMass Dartmouth Athletic Complex Tennis Courts. The final home contest of the regular season was designated as Senior Day, and all seven Corsair seniors participated and won their matches.

Women's Tennis Ties for Second at Grass Court Doubles
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women’s tennis team tied for second in an eight-team field in their 2013 season opener at the College Grass Court Doubles Invitational Tournament at the International Tennis Hall of Fame Saturday. UMass Dartmouth, Bridgewater State and Curry each scored six points. Holy Cross was first with 12 points. Assumption and Colby-Sawyer each had five points, Salve Regina had three and Johnson & Wales two.

Women's Tennis Opens at Hall of Fame Doubles Tournament
--The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women’s tennis team will open their 2013 season at the 29th annual Women’s Grass Court Doubles Championships Saturday afternoon. The Corsairs will be one of eight teams competing at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, joining host Salve Regina University, Division 1 Holy Cross, Division 2 Assumption College, Bridgewater State, Curry College and Johnson & Wales University. The action begins at 1:00 p.m.

Kayleigh Holt Named Assistant Women's Tennis Coach
When looking to hire an assistant coach, UMass Dartmouth women's tennis Head Coach Doug Chapman returned to his roots in Somerset, MA. Kayleigh Holt joins the Corsairs from the successful tennis program at Somerset-Berkley Regional High School, where she assisted her father, Blue Raiders' girls' tennis Head Coach Peter Holt, for the past several seasons.

Women's Tennis Picked Second in LEC Pre-Season Poll
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s women’s tennis team has been picked to finish second in the annual Little East Conference pre-season poll. The Corsairs received two first place votes and 74 points in the poll, three points behind first-place Bridgewater State, which received the other seven first place votes. The predicted finish ties UMD's highest placing ever in the LEC pre-season poll.
