How it Happened
The Corsairs didn't allow a single point from the hosts in the doubles matches. At No. 1, junior Jenna Lahaie (Lakeville, Mass.) and sophomore Jaime Fastino (Rehoboth, Mass.) downed Ginger Boodakian (Burlington, Mass.) and Molly O'Donnell (Danvers, Mass.). The No. 2 flight saw seniors Mollie McCaffrey (Taunton, Mass.) and Jillian Reichert (Marion, Mass.) upend Cierra Peaslee (Killingly, Conn.) and Yuliana Chairez (Waltham, Mass.), with freshman Rachel Aftandilian (Watertown, Mass.) and senior Molina Oung (Bourne, Mass.) dispatching Amanda Garner (Coventry, R.I.) and Hannah Bassett (Needham, Mass.) at No. 3.

Two Corsairs then completed 6-0 sweeps at the singles flights to help UMass Dartmouth complete the match. McCaffrey and senior Samantha Rollings (Tiverton, R.I.) didn't allow a single set from opponents Garner and Chairez, respectively. At No. 1 and No. 2, Lahaie and senior Kerry Magoon (Marshfield, Mass.) were just as dominant, both prevailing 6-0, 6-1.

Fastino wrapped up a 6-0, 6-2 defeat of Peaslee at No. 4, and at No. 6, freshman Michelle Aftandilian (Watertown, Mass.) picked up her first collegiate win 6-0, 6-3 over Bassett.
