Walsh, O'Reilly Write Themselves Into Women's Indoor Track Record Book

BOSTON, Mass. --  Sophomore Taylor Walsh (Groveland, Mass.) and junior Jess O’Reilly (Millis, Mass.) wrote themselves into the UMass Dartmouth women’s indoor track & field record books with solid performances in their respective events at the Boston University Last Chance Qualifier Sunday afternoon.

Walsh recorded the second fastest time in school history in the 800 meters, as her mark of 2:21.63 was good enough for a 32nd place finish in a field of 48 competitors from all divisions.  O’Reilly ran the sixth fastest indoor mile in Corsair history with a time of 5:14.11, as her performance was good for 16th place in a field of 31 runners.

UMass Dartmouth returns to action on Saturday morning at the Tufts Last Chance Qualifier in Medford, Mass.
