GORHAM, Maine –The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's cross country team competed in the NCAA Northeast Regional meet on Saturday afternoon.
The top individual finisher was Williams College senior Kaleigh Kenny, who completed the six –kilometer course in 21:02.18.
Williams College took home first place with a score of 54, followed by Middlebury College (54) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (127).
UMass Dartmouth generated a score of 1143 points, placing them in 40th between Norwich University (39th) and the University of Maine Farmington (41st).
The top runner for the Corsairs was freshman Remi DiGiovanni (Southborough, Mass.), who placed 197th with a time of 29:09.65. Following DiGiovanni was sophomore Katisha Bellagarde (Methuen, Mass.) who placed in 218th with a time of 25:31.02 and junior Renee Laurencelle (Tyngsboro Mass.) with a 231st place time of 25:43.70.
