Women's Cross Country Gearing Up For Seven Events In Salem's First Campaign

A new era for Corsair women’s cross country begins this fall, as Head Coach Mike Salem begins his first season at UMass Dartmouth looking to make a run at a Little East Conference crown.  The Corsairs will compete in five regular season invitationals that lead up to the league championships in late October and the NCAA Division III Regionals in early November.

UMass Dartmouth begins the 2018 season on Saturday, September 1st by heading to the Fitchburg State Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational, and the Corsairs will once again host their own home event on Saturday, September 15th.  Salem’s squad will also compete UMass Boston Codfish Bowl (Saturday, September 22nd), Westfield State James Earley (Saturday, October 6th) and Western New England (Saturday, October 13th) Invitationals to complete regular season action before heading to Warwick, R.I. on Saturday, October 27th for the Little East Championships.  UMass Dartmouth will then venture to Brunswick, Maine on Saturday, November 10th for the NCAA Regional Championships.
