MINNEAPOLIS, MN-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's basketball team moved up one spot this week in the latest men's basketball poll, improving to 17th as they get ready for another big week.

The Corsairs will host Tufts Wednesday evening at the Tripp Athletic Center. The Corsairs are 17-2, and the Jumbos, usually a New England power, are uncharacteristically 9-11 this year. UMass Dartmouth is the only LEC team ranked in the poll, although Rhode Island College and UMD foe Salem State received votes this week.

"I thought we had a good week," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Brian Baptiste. "We won three games, and Salem State, one of the teams we beat, is getting national recognition by getting votes in the national poll."

After Wednesday night's game, the Corsairs will return to action Saturday when they host perennial Little East Conference power Keene State in the second game of an LEC doubleheader.
