UMass Dartmouth junior attack Donovan Prozinski and sophomore midfielder Tim Jordan earned spots on the 2019 Little East Conference Men’s Lacrosse all-conference team that was announced earlier today by the league office.
Prozinski, a native of Ashland, Mass. and a graduate of Ashland High School, earned first team all-conference accolades for a second straight season, as he led the Corsairs in scoring with 44 goals and 28 assists for 72 points (the fourth highest total in the league) that included a career-high 10-point performance on April 20th in an 18-4 victory at Salem State. Donovan, who netted his 100th career goal in that triumph over the Vikings, collected three or more tallies on seven occasions this spring, as he will enter his final collegiate campaign with 111 goals and 66 assists for 177 points.
Jordan, a native of Sandwich, Mass. and a graduate of Saint John Paul II High School, was named to the Little East second team squad after notching 34 goals and 13 assists for 47 points in his first season in a UMass Dartmouth uniform this spring. Tim tallied 19 times and dished out seven helpers in conference play in 2019, and he chipped in with 36 ground balls and 18 face off wins along the way. Jordan registered a season-high six points on a pair of occasions while netting three or more goals in five matches, including a career-best five markers at Western Connecticut on April 17th.
The Corsairs posted eight overall victories (including a 4-4 slate in Little East play) under second year Head Coach Ryan Murphy, as UMass Dartmouth advanced to the conference semifinals before falling to eventual tournament champion Keene State.
