Box Score LAKEVILLE, Mass. -Â The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team dropped its match, 8-1, against Plymouth State Saturday afternoon in Lakeville, Mass.
The Corsairs (3-2), fought hard with a handful of close games, while the Panthers (6-1) have now won four consecutive matches.
"I was disappointed in our doubles play, but we were much more competitive in the singles," said Head Coach
Doug Chapman. "
Yasemin Kurtis continued her strong play in singles, she in consistent and fights for everything."

Yasemin Kurtis won her singles match over Plymouth's Kira Winter (6-1, 6-4). The other singles scores were senior
Jackie Bokis (2-6, 4-6), junior
Alanna O'Connell (6-1, 1-6, 4-6), sophomore
Ailey Riddick (3-6, 1-6), junior
McKenzie Ferrari (5-7, 1-6) and senior
Jordan Beals (1-6, 0-6).
Falling in doubles were Kurtis and Bokis (2-8), O'Connell and Riddick (0-8) and Ferrari and Beals (2-8).
The Corsairs have a quick turnaround and will compete Sunday at Lesley at 1 p.m.
