BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – The UMass Dartmouth women's tennis saw their season end after No. 3 seeded Bridgewater State University posted a 5-0 defeat on Tuesday afternoon during the Little East Conference (LEC) Quarterfinals match. The Corsairs finished the 2024 campaign with a 8-8 overall record and a 4-4 record in conference action.
The Bears quickly took a 3-0 lead after sweeping in doubles play as Meghan Lotti and Samantha Bettencourt earned the first win of the day at No. 3 doubles. Aislyn Kelliher and Morgan Smith posted an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles before Bridgewater State cemented their sweep with an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles.

Saige Croce in No. 5 singles, however, the Bears extended their advantage to 4-0 with a 6-2, 6-0 win. Bettencourt soon followed, sealing the 5-0 victory for the home side with a win at No. 6 singles to advance the Bears to the LEC Semifinals.
