Box Score WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The UMass Dartmouth women's tennis team saw their win streak snapped on Monday afternoon after falling 7-0 on the road to the University of Saint Joseph's in non-conference play. The Corsairs are now 5-1 on the season while the Blue Jays improved to a 5-2 overall record with the win.
In doubles play, junior

Sofia Beltran came up short against Olivia Santoro and Maddie Rossetti in No. 1 doubles. Sophomore

Saige Croce battled in the No. 2 doubles spot but were defeated 7-5, heading into singles action trailing 1-0.
The Blue Jays secured a quick point in No. 6 singles after winning by default to take a 2-0 edge in the contest. The home side continued to tack on points following victories in No. 5 and No. 4 singles, respectively, to go ahead 4-0.
Beltran picked up a loss in No. 3 singles after falling 6-0, 6-2 to Liliana Garcia. In No. 2 singles, Walters fell behind 6-1 in the first set against Rossetti who would seal the win in set two by a score of 6-2.
Gonzalez took the first set, 6-4, in the No. 1 singles spot for the Corsairs against Santoro. Santoro responded in the second set earning a 7-5 win before taking the third set 1-0, sealing the Blue Jays 7-0 sweep.
UMass Dartmouth is back home hosting Russell Sage College on Wednesday, Sept. 18 for non-conference play starting at 3:30 pm.
