KEENE, N.H. – Led by an All-LEC First Team finish from
Cameron Thompson, the UMass Dartmouth men's cross country team placed fifth at the 2025 Little East Conference Championships on Saturday at Keene State. The Corsairs were fifth overall (97 points) in the 8k event amongst the eight-team field, which was won by the host Owls (52 points).
Thompson earned his second straight First Team honor and his highest LEC Championship finish, taking third in 25:24.00. Junior
Joseph Stanton was next across, placing 15th overall with a time of 26:24.50. Sophomore
Connor Bruni crossed the finish next for the Corsairs, taking 24th overall in 26:48.50, while classmate
Jack Barbato was right behind in 25th with a time of 26:50.30.

Ethan Sylvia posted a time of 27:01.00 to finish 30th as sophomore
Jackson Caron posted a time of 27:28.80 for 37th. Wrapping up the team scoring was junior
Zack Shute, who had a time of 27:29.70 for 38th overall.
