KEENE, N.H. – Powered by a pair of Top-10 finishes, the UMass Dartmouth women's cross country team finished third overall at the 2025 Little East Conference Championships on Saturday – hosted by Keene State College. The Corsairs compiled 81 points, taking third overall in the 6k race amongst seven teams as Plymouth State captured this year's title.
Leading the way was junior captain
Sarah Lynch, who earned All-LEC First Team honors after crossing the line in 23:18.30 for sixth overall. Classmate and fellow captain
Sophie Owen was next across, taking home All-LEC Second Team honors with a ninth-place finish of 23:32.80.

Ashlyn Byrnes then kicked off a flurry of finishes for the Corsairs, posting 21st overall in 24:36.80, while rookie
Alexah Pedder crossed right behind in 22nd with a time of 24:37.10. Next to cross in 23rd was sophomore
Natalya LaVita, who posted a time of 24:37.60, while senior captain
Tori Schweitzer took 24th in 24:37.70. Rookie
Elena Aponte wrapped up the team scoring in 25th with a time of 24:53.10.
