Maddy Allen notched her 100
th career goal for the Corsairs in the home victory following her five-goal performance. UMass Dartmouth improved to a 2-0 mark in conference play, and are now 7-3 overall, with their fourth straight victory while the Anchorwomen dropped to 0-4 on the season.
After the Anchorwomen grabbed a quick 1-0 lead to open the first period, the Corsairs responded by going on a 5-0 run to claim a 5-1 advantage. First year
Jenny Lipanovich got UMass Dartmouth on the scoreboard with her score at the 10:16 mark. Allen then tallied back-to-back goals before Lipanovich and first year
Kyra DiBiase wrapped up the first period with a goal apiece to make it 5-1 heading into the second.

Kyra Lyons kicked off the second period by scoring her 17
th goal of the season to put the Corsairs up 6-1. Rhode Island put two on the scoreboard to make it a 7-3 game, but first year
Claire Altshuler buried the ball in the back of the net just before the break to take an 8-3 at halftime.
The Corsairs continued to build their lead in the third period outscoring the Anchorwomen 6-3 to go ahead 15-6 in the contest. Lipanovich netted four of the six goals for UMass Dartmouth while DiBiase and Altshuler each added one score apiece. Claire Greene tallied the seventh score of the evening for Rhode Island in the opening minutes of the fourth period. Sophomore
Jennifer Lins and Allen cemented the Senior Day victory by each tallying a goal to secure the Corsairs second conference win by a final score 18-7.
Lipanovich led the team with her six-goal performance along with one assist for seven points. She also scoped up four ground balls and won one draw control in the win. Allen posted five goals for five points against Rhode Island to record her 100
th career goal as a Corsair. Allen also led the team with seven draw controls as well as five ground balls and one caused turnover. Altshuler produced her first career hat trick to go along with one assist for a career-high four points while DiBiase tallied two scores. Lyons and Lins both registered one goal apiece while Lins also recorded a pair of assists for three points.
First year
Keira Bushey secured her seventh win on net for UMass Dartmouth after posting five saves and allowing just seven goals on the evening. Her counterpart recorded 12 stops and allowed 18 goals for the Anchorwomen.
UMass Dartmouth returns to non-conference play on Tuesday, April 2 hosting the Falcons of Fitchburg State University for their Corsair Game of the Week. The contest is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Cressy Field.
