DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth women's tennis team downed Plymouth State University, 6-1, in Little East Conference (LEC) play to secure their third straight league win of the season. The Corsairs improved to a 3-0 conference record and are now 6-2 overall while the Panthers fell to a 1-5 mark on the year.

Gianna Doiron edged their Panther opponents 7-5 at No. 2 doubles to claim their second doubles victory together on the week. Plymouth State, however, secured the opening point with No. 1 and No. 3 doubles wins to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles action.
Dean defeated Chloe Ahern at No. 2 singles by a 6-1, 6-3 final score to tie the match up at 1-apiece. Senior

Doiron handed Sarah Lamy a 6-2, 6-3 defeat at No. 5 singles, marking her fifth singles win of the year, to make it a 5-1 match. Sophomore
Alyson Tobias sealed the Corsairs home win after defeating Lauryn Corrigan at No. 3 singles (6-4,6-2) to earn their third straight league victory by a final score of 6-1.
