Eight Student-Athletes Selected As ITA All-Scholars

DARMOUTH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its Division III Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 season and eight Corsair athletes have been recognized, along with All-Academic Team honors. The team is now up to 61 honorees since the 2014 season. 
 
Juniors Saige Croce and Maddie Gonzalez were honored for the third straight season, while Graduate Student Kayli Langan made it two years in-a-row earning the honor. 
 
First time recipients were Lauren Burgess, Alyson Tobias, Zuri Walters, Gianna Doiron, and Ava Aguiar
 
Croce, a native of Willow Grove, PA, served as the team captain during the 2025 season, competed in 14 total matches for the Corsairs. Croce earned a win in her only singles match and went 4-8 in doubles contests. 
 
Hailing from Pawcatuck, Conn., Gonzalez served as the team captain for the Corsairs in 2025. Gonzalez finished the year with a 3-1 record in both singles and doubles action. Her three wins were all consecutive, starting on Sept. 9 and ending on Sept. 19.  
 
Graduate Student out of Lakewood, Colo., Langan, went 4-1 in six matches with the Corsairs. She earned a win in her only doubles match of the season. 
 
A member of the 2025 All-LEC Sportsmanship Team, Hanson, Mass. Native Tobias appeared in 15 matches for the Corsairs. Tobias finished the season with a 6-9 record in singles matches. The sophomore also earned two wins in doubles matches.
 
A four-year member of the team and an All-LEC Second team member, Walters competed in 14 matches with the Corsairs in 2025. The Dorchester, Mass. native came away with a 6-6 at the conclusion of the season and earned four wins in doubles matches. 
 
Freshman out of Tewksbury, Mass., Doiron appeared in 13 matches for the Corsairs. She had a team high in singles wins as a rookie with a 7-6 record. Doiron also had the second most doubles wins with a total of six.
 
Native of Berkley, Mass., Aguiar, appeared in 15 total matches for the Corsairs. The rookie finished the season with a 5-3 record in singles, while reaching a 6-7 record in doubles action. 
 
Sophomore from Plymouth, Mass., Burgess, did not appear in a match during the 2025 season. 
 
The Corsairs went 9-6 during the 2025 season and earned a first round win over Salem State in the Little East Conference playoffs. The team eventually fell to undefeated Rhode Island College in the playoff semifinal.
