DARTMOUTH, Mass. - UMass Dartmouth women's tennis enjoyed a 7-0 victory over Lesley in their season home opener this Wednesday afternoon. 
 
The Corsairs were led by newcomer Magali Breur who fought her way to a dominant two-set victory (6-0, 6-3). Breur teamed up with Ava Aguiar in the doubles matches and were victorious 6-2. Aguiar won her singles match in two sets, 6-0 and 6-1. 
 
Sophomore Mya Dean excelled in her singles match earning a two-set victory (6-3, 6-0). Dean partnered up with captain Alyson Tobias in the doubles section and emerged winners 6-0. Tobias earned the win in her singles matchup in just two sets (6-0, 6-1).
 
Gianna Doiron and Tamia McQueen rounded out the doubles matches this afternoon with a 6-0 victory over the Lesley pair. Doiron came away with the singles victory in two sets (6-1, 6-1), while the freshman McQueen earned her first collegiate victory. McQueen swept both sets 6-0. 
 
The Corsairs look to keep things rolling this Saturday at 1pm against Thomas College. It's the Corsair Game of the Week honoring the US Open which is being played.
