Lauren Arbec enters her first season as an assistant lacrosse coach at UMass Dartmouth in 2023.

Arbec recently wrapped up a four-year playing career at Worcester State University where she was a four-year starter on defense. Arbec had a decorated career at Worcester State, she was named the Massachusetts State Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 and 2019, along with being selected to the MASCAC Second Team in 2018.

Arbec also won the Worcester State Margaret "Peg" Nugent Award, which is given to the top scholar at the University. Arbec graduated from Worcester State in 2021 with a bachelor of science in sociology and minors in mathematics & spanish.
