Josh Sylvester concluded his second season as head coach of the UMass Dartmouth football team in 2024. His guidance has led the Corsairs to three consecutive Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) titles, and appearances in the NCAA Tournament and New England Bowl.

  • Assistant Coach at UMass Dartmouth for 13 seasons
  • Served as offensive coordinator for the Corsairs from 2011-2022
  • Served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for a 2022 Corsairs team that captured its first MASCAC title in program history
  • Squad advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2022 for the 2nd time in program history
  • Mentored Dante Aviles-Santos to his first MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year honor in 2022
  • Mentored offensive lineman Pat Sullivan to numerous honors, including the 2016 MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year, New England Football Writers Association (NEWFA) Division II/III All-New England Team, and the 2017 Jack Daly Award for Academics, Citizenship, and Football.
