Mary (Bourque) Carroll '01, a 2014 inductee into the UMass Dartmouth Athletic Hall of Fame, returned to her alma mater as a volunteer assistant tennis coach in 2025-26. The former Mary Bourque played on three consecutive Little East Conference championship tennis teams for the Corsairs in 1996, 1997 and 1998. Carroll remains a very active player at the Weymouth Tennis Club, where her team recently finished second in USTA Women's 45 & Over 4.5 National Championships. She also has several other top-5 finishes nationally in the 4.0 and 4.5 team categories.
