Bobby Desilets was named the Head Coach of Women's Soccer at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in May of 2022. He became first full-time head coach since 2014 as the program enters its 38th season this fall. Desilets arrives from Wheaton College, where he was the Head Women's Soccer Coach for six seasons.

Desilets and the Corsairs were winners of seven games in the 2025 season, which was tied for the most since the 2014 season. The Corsairs enjoyed two dominant conference victories over WestConn and Plymouth State. It was the second straight season with two conference wins, the most since the 2018 slate.

During his time in Norton, Desilets compiled a 42-23-10 record, while earning a playoff berth in the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament in every season. Desilet's leadership helped produced seven All-Conference selections and five All-Region recipients, including the 2017 NEWMAC Rookie of the Year.

Prior to Wheaton, Desilets was the Head Coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Desilets rebuilt the Leopards into a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contender guiding them to their first-ever CCC Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. Building off a successful 2015 season that saw Desilets named both the CCC and ECAC New England Coach of the Year, while seven of his players were named All-CCC. The 2016 squad captured many firsts, including hoisting the first conference championship for any female sport in Wentworth history.

A Burrillville, R.I., native, Desilets was a four-year standout in men's soccer at Bowdoin College, helping the Polar Bears to a 43-17-5 record during his career and an appearance in the 2003 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament. During his junior campaign he was named both First Team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference and Third Team All-New England region. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and History from Bowdoin and earned his master's degree from Northeastern University.
