UMass Dartmouth's bats came alive for the contest against their Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent; seven of the starting nine collected a hit, while three had two or more hits. Sophomore Josh O'Neill (Halifax, Mass.) paced the Corsairs offense by going 3-for-3 with two RBI and a walk on the day.

The Corsairs started the game putting up runs early and often. In the third inning, sophomore Jose Vazquez (Roxbury, Mass.) sent a double down the left field line.
