Baseball Falls to TCNJ at RussMatt Invitational

AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Corsairs fell to The College of New Jersey 20-3 at the RussMatt Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.

The Corsairs fall to 2-3 on the season, while TCNJ improves to 6-1 on the year.

UMass Dartmouth's lone bright spot came in the bottom of the fourth when sophomore Mac Curran (Lakeville, Mass.) hit his first home run of the year off of the left field scoreboard.

On the game, freshman Jonathan Livolsi (Bridgewater, Mass.) paced the Corsairs at the plate, going 2-for-3. Freshman Drew CaraDonna (Pembroke, Mass.) picked up the loss on the day, while TCNJ sophomore Brandon Zachary (Cherry Hill, N.J.) collected his first win on the season, going six innings.

The Corsairs return to the field when they take on No. 13 Wisconsin-Stevens Point Thursday at Lake Myrtle with first pitch slated for 1 p.m.
